John Leguizamo might be heading back to work on TV.

ABC is interested in a new pilot from the Colombian actor, a comedy project that was co-written by Leguizamo about his role as a husband and father and his experience living as an outcast in New York City.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that the project is a half-hour comedy and that Leguizamo will star in it. The pilot will also include his financially prosperous wife, friends from the Bronx, his kids and his mother and grandpa.

Leguizamo proposed a pilot to ABC last year titled “Kings of Van Nuys,” but the network passed on the opportunity. He did  ink a deal for another show on ABC called “Only Fools and Horses.”

Leguizamo will also be starring in Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor” alongside Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz and Michael Fassbender. And he will also have another role in Jeff Wadlow’s film “Kick Ass 2,” where he will be playing the role of Javier, a bodyguard responsible for the safety of the movie’s villain Red Mist, played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
