Andrew Jarecki was keeping mum at a party last Thursday in preparation for the trial of accused killer Robert Durst.

The director’s HBO miniseries, “The Jinx,” ended last Sunday with an apparent murder confession by Durst — and although Jarecki did several interviews afterward with outlets including “GMA,” he has canceled everything else in case he’s called as a witness.

“I wish I could talk to you more about it, but I can’t,” he said at the Baccarat Hotel with pal Greg Kinnear. “There will be plenty of talking about it in the month to come, because there is going to be a trial.”

He also avoided having any photos taken.

After the series finale, Durst was arrested for the murder of his former spokeswoman, Susan Berman, in California.
