Jim Edmonds’ family is growing again.
The former MLB star, 49, is expecting his first grandchild. He revealed the news as part of a series of photos from his trip to California to visit his older children, Hayley and Lauren Edmonds, with his new girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor.
Lauren, who tied the knot in 2017, revealed in May that she was expecting her first child in a now-deleted Instagram post that was shared by Hayley. Lauren’s account is private.

The family used a confetti cannon for what appeared to be a gender reveal, though both pink and blue papers were released. Lauren then bit into a cupcake — in a separate post — to reveal a pink filling.
“I’m so happy for Lauren and Dylan and excited to have a granddaughter on the way,” Jim exclusively told Page Six on Wednesday. “Between all my kids and this new addition, I’m pretty close to having a full baseball team!”
