Jessica Alba Wins Razzie Award for "Worst Supporting Actress"

Jessica Alba wasn’t a big winner at the Oscars Sunday night, but she did take home her first Razzie Award.

Winners of the 31st annual “Golden Raspberry” were announced at Hollywood’s Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., the night before the Oscar awards.

The actress, who was nominated for “Worst Supporting Actress,” for her roles in “Machete,” “The Killer Inside Me,” “Little Fockers,” and “Valentine’s Day,” beat Cher for her role in “Burlesque,” Liza Minnelli for her role in “Sex and The City 2,” Nicola Peltz in “The Last Airbender,” and fellow colleague Barbra Streisand also from “Little Fockers.”

Comedian and Television host George López was nominated for “Worst Supporting Actor” but lost to “The Last Airbender’s” Jackson Rathbone.

López’s nominated roles include: “Marmaduke,” “The Spy Next Door,” and “Valentine’s Day.”

Since their debut in 1980, the Razzies “are the foremost authority” presenting the worst achievements in film.
