NEW YORK -- Current "Jersey Shore" castmembers Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio and Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley will star in two new spinoff shows on MTV, the cable network announced Thursday.
Polizzi and Farley will appear together in an untitled project that will show the pair "deal with life and love" in a 12-episode series, according to a statement.
Delvecchio will show-off his "jet-setting and often hilarious life on the road as one of the country's most in-demand DJs" in the 12-episodes of his show.

"The 'Jersey Shore' cast is at the center of the show's ongoing success and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities," Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production, said in the statement.
"We're excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us," he added.
Both shows are scheduled to air in 2012 and all three castmembers are expected to appear on the fourth season of "The Jersey Shore" that will be filmed in Italy from April 18 to June 20.

The reality show has been a consistent ratings hit for MTV.
In January, an episode of the show, that featured Polizzi being freed from jail, attracted an average of 8.9 million viewers -- making it the most-watched telecast in the cable network's 30 year history.
