Jennifer Lopez is letting everyone know she is standing firm with the LGBT community.
The Puerto Rican singer is joining forces with ABC Family to create a new TV show about a lesbian couple who bring in a young adult into their family circle, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The news about JLO’s new venture comes just as a major LGBT and Latino campaign was launched on Sunday at the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) conference, in Las Vegas, Nev.

More than 20 prominent Hispanic organizations, such as the Mexican American Legal Defense & Educational Fund (MALDEF) and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), launched Familia es Familia, a bilingual campaign which focuses on giving resources and knowledge to empower the Latino community about LGBT issues.
Lopez’s endeavor is set to be an hourlong feature. She is developing the unnamed project under her company Nuyorican Productions.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Lopez will be an executive producer on the show. Joining her will be Simon Fields, Greg Gugliotta (Beautiful Girl), and Peter Paige and Brad Bredeweg (Fly Girls).

Besides her TV developments, Lopez says she is looking forward to her upcoming tour with Enrique Iglesias, despite the fact that reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel had to drop out of the tour.
On Sunday, Lopez told The Miami Herald that going on tour with other artists introduces fans to new music that they might not be aware of.
“We probably share some fans, but I think we’re definitely going to introduce each other to a whole new set of fans as well,” Lopez told The Miami Herald.

“When you have two artists come together that you do have that thing that happens, where you’ll have that person in the audience who doesn’t really know your music, and they’re only there to see Enrique or only there to see me, and then they’ll be like, 'Oh my God, I love them now,'" she said.
Lopez and Iglesias’ summer tour kicks off in Montreal July 14.
