Jennifer Lopez reportedly finalizing multimillion dollar deal for Las Vegas show

“Jenny from the Block” might become “Jenny on the Strip.”

Jennifer Lopez is in the final stages of signing a multimillion deal to perform at The Axis, Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, according to several reports. That is the same location where pop princess Britney Spears is performing her show, which ends in 2015.

According to TMZ, Lopez is being offered $350,000 per show – nearly $40,000 more than Spears. The potential contract will have the “Booty” singer doing 72 shows, three times a week for 24 weeks over a one or two-year period.

While Lopez would be making more than Spears, its chump change when compared to Celine Dion, who does 79 shows a year and earns $33.3 million.

It has been a good year for Lopez, who had three hit singles this year – “Booty”, “I Luh Ya Papi” and “First Love.” The singer is also gearing up for another season of “American Idol” and has a new biography out in November.

She also recently purchased a $22 million penthouse apartment in New York City, according to the New York Daily News.

The apartment located has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and 3,000 square-feet exterior space overlooking Madison Square Park.

Lopez's neighbors in the ultra luxurious apartment include the likes of Chelsea Clinton and NASCAR's Jeff Gordon.
