Another day, another salacious rumor about Jennifer Lopez and her boy toy boyfriend.
The latest news surrounding the couple’s May-December romance is that the 43-year-old star is “desperate” to have Casper Smart’s baby.
While representatives for JLO have shot down the rumor, Star magazine is reporting that Lopez is so desperate to have a baby with her 25-year-old boyfriend she has “turned to in vitro fertilization in hopes of getting pregnant.”
“She’s scared that time isn’t on her side with regards to her age. But she’s hoping that with fertility treatments she’ll be pregnant in the next couple of months,” a source told the tabloid.
Lopez is also apparently hoping to keep the treatments a secret to protect her ego.
“She’s paranoid about people knowing about her pregnancy hardships, because it makes her feel old,” the source explained.
However, when a Hollywood rumor patrol website asked Lopez’s people if the report was true, the term they used to describe the news was “inaccurate.”
Last week, another rumor-ridden tabloid claimed Lopez was getting cozy on the side with Cuban rapper Pitbull and Smart was furious about it.
The National Enquirer claimed Lopez had been cheating on Smart with her longtime friend and musical collaborator.
“Casper is convinced Jennifer is fooling around with Pitbull behind his back and that he’s on the chopping block,” a source told the gossip rag.
“He’s immature and he doesn’t have the drive, ambition and self-made success that Jen does,” added the source. “She loved being part of a Latin power couple with Marc, and she’d love nothing more than to get married again to a singer of her stature.”
But as this rumor was playing out, Lopez and Smart were seen looking happier than ever as they were photographed through London last week.
