Hervey was reportedly booked after he took Ambien and got behind the wheel. The actor was charged with driving under the influence and carrying a weapon while under the influence, as there was a loaded handgun in his car, according to the gossip site.
The actor confirmed the arrest to TMZ and said he took a prescription for Ambien before getting behind the wheel to do an errand.
Hervey played Wayne Arnold during “The Wonder Years’” six-season run from 1988 to 1993. Since the show wrapped, Hervey has worked behind-the-scenes in Hollywood as a producer.
