Evancho is a Pittsburgh native and a soprano who has performed in Washington before. She has performed at the Independence Day concert "A Capitol Fourth" along with the lighting of the national Christmas tree and the National Prayer Breakfast.
In 2010, she was the runner-up on NBC's "America's Got Talent."
