“My mother taught me when I was very young that if I don’t want my boobs to hit the my knees by the time I’m 30, always wear a bra, even to bed,” the 48-year-old mother of two told Yahoo Style.
Berry, who’s been married to Olivier Martinez since 2013, is revamping the French-born label “Scandale” and is launching a new collection of bras and panties to be sold at Target, reports the Associated Press.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}She says that undergarments lay the foundation for positive self-esteem any day. “Most women know that what you put under your clothes is the first step in making yourself feel good about yourself,” she said.
The “Extant” actress noted that even though women buy lingerie mostly for themselves, “When they find something they feel good in, and that makes them feel sexy and feminine and empowered, their partners also reap the benefits.”
