Growing Up Lourdes: How Madonna’s Daughter Has Transformed Over the Years

The Material Girl’s daughter has grown up right before our eyes. PHOTOS: Madonna Through the Years Madonna made headlines for turning the big 5-8 last week, and later for celebrating her birthday with her family in Havana, Cuba. But while the pop superstar has been teasing fans on social media with snaps of pina coladas, her star-studded guest list, and plenty of dancing, it’s Lourdes Leon — or "Lola" — who had us doing a double-take. The 19-year-old (whose father Carlos Leon, personal trainer, is originally from Cuba), has been exploring Havana with her family — and it’s safe to say that she’s no longer the cherubic-looking little girl we remember her as. With her striking features, "La Cubanita," as her mother lovingly calls her on Instagram, is a stunning lady ready to make her own mark. And so far, she’s been doing just that. Not only is she studying musical theater at the University of Michigan, but she also made her modeling debut for Stella McCartney earlier this year, and previously co-founded her Material Girl clothing line with Madonna.
