Gregg Allman cancels remaining tour dates, will not tour in 2017

Gregg Allman will not be touring in 2017.
The singer made the announcement on his website Monday, but offered no explanation for the cancellation. He had several concerts scheduled for June which have also been canceled.
"It has been determined that Gregg will not be touring in 2017," a statement on his website said. Ticket purchasers will be refunded.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A rep for Allman told Fox News they had no further comment at this time.
The Allman Brothers Band lead singer has been plagued by several health issues in recent years. In August 2016, the band cited "serious health issues" for canceling 28 concerts.
Allman returned to the stage in October 2016 but postponed his winter tour due to a vocal injury.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The 69-year-old also canceled a solo 201 tour after suffering an upper respiratory condition stemming from a liver transplant.
The band's founding drummer Butch Trucks committed suicide in January.
