Georgia business owner Lance Toland's change in company policy requires all 12 of his employees to carry handguns while at work. Guns he’ll provide, so long as his employees obtain a concealed weapons permit. On FOX & Friends this morning he defended his decision to carry out the policy.

“You can't rely on the police to be there. They're going to be there eventually, but they're not going to be there when the perpetrator comes.”

His main goal is to provide security to his entire staff, many of whom are female. Toland unfortunately knows all too well the damage guns can do.  As a child he was orphaned, left to be raised by his uncle.  He lost his only parental figure when his uncle was gunned down by three thugs.  To this day Toland attends every parole hearing to ensure his uncle’s killer isn’t released from jail.

Employees across three offices operated by Toland will be given a 5-shot pistol. Client feedback, he says, is positive.
