Freddie Prinze Jr. is learning to walk again after undergoing spinal surgery reports Rob Shuter of naughtygossip. He was not specific about why he needed the surgery only tweeting that he had some, “disc problems.”
The 38-year-old actor shared the news on Twitter Nov. 20, writing: “Spine surgery this morning but now ur homie is…Robo-Bro!” Since the surgery Prinze says he’s been learning to walk again but is upbeat and positive about the challenge.
The “Scooby - Doo” actor grinned in a series of before-and-after photos he posted on Twitter and even suggested some appropriate nicknames for himself like the Iron Android.

Despite the surgery Prinze remains in good spirit wishing his fans a Happy Thanksgiving and tweeting, "Just sending ya'll some love today. Keep pushing people forward. Dont hold em back! Only way we're gonna make it!"
Prinze is married to Sarah Michelle Gellar. They have two children, Charlotte, 5 and son Rocky, 2.
