Willie Aames and Sly Stone went from zillions to zero, but other stars did it the other way around.
- Sly Stone In the 1970s, Sly Stone of Sly and the Family Stone fame was one of the biggest names in music. Bringing in the big bucks for his hits like "Everyday People" and "Hot Fun in the Summetime," Stone was reportedly an automobile enthusiast with Jaguars, Hummers and a Studebaker. But years of drug use and financial woes left Stone in the hole. In 2009, the singer reportedly began living in a van he parks in a Los Angeles neighborhood. Showering inside the home of a friend, Stone now records music on his laptop from inside the van. But Stone isn't alone.
