Former Texas governor and two-time Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry reportedly will join the cast of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" for the upcoming season.
The full cast list for Season 23 was to be revealed on "Good Morning America" Tuesday. However, ET Online reported Monday that Perry, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and recording artist Vanilla Ice would be among the celebrities strutting their stuff as they battle for the coveted mirror ball trophy.
Other stars who will hit the dance floor include U.S. Olympians Ryan Lochte and Laurie Hernandez and "Brady Bunch" star Maureen McCormick.

Perry is not the first elected official from Texas to appear on the program. Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay partnered Cheryl Burke on Season 9 back in 2009. DeLay with drew from the show due to stress fractures in his feet, but returned for the season finale.
At the time, Texas Sen. John Cornyn described DeLay's dancing to the Dallas Morning News as "a remarkable performance."
"He has a lot of self confidence," Cornyn said of DeLay, "but I think he needs to keep his day job."
