A former cook at Jason Aldean’s restaurant in Nashville, Tenn., is suing the establishment, claiming she was fired after asking management why she wasn't being paid overtime.
Cindy Galeano worked at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar last year from May 1 to Sept. 5 and claims she was never paid overtime even though she regularly worked more than 40 hours each week, according to court documents.
"Plaintiff was, and is, entitled to be paid at the statutory rate of one and one-half times her regular rate of pay for those hours that she worked in excess of forty (40) hours,” the suit said.
Galeano spoke with a human resources manager about the issue on Sept. 4, 2018 and was fired the next day, the suit said. A representative for the country music star did not immediately respond to a Fox News request for comment early Wednesday.

Galeano is seeking overtime pay owed to her and an unspecified amount of damages. Aldean opened the restaurant last summer in downtown Nashville.
