Florida rapper Project Youngin shot while filming Instagram live video: report

Project Youngin, a rapper from Florida, was allegedly shot while filming an Instagram Live video on Sunday, according to reports.

Project Youngin, 25, whose real name is Rasheed Jamaal Hall, was sharing new music with his fans on Sunday in the video, the Daily Mail reported. He appeared to be in a car introducing the song while counting money, XXL Magazine reported.

"This song right now though. Y'all gon' get that," he says. "It's on the way. It's comin'. Yeah, that s--- comin'. Y'all already know, man. ‘Thug Souljas’ on the way, man. That's how we rockin', man,” Project Youngin was overheard saying in the video.

An error occurred while retrieving the Instagram post. It might have been deleted.

A few moments later, what appeared to be gunshots could be heard and the rapper dropped his phone as more shots rang out. The video cut off shortly after. Earlier that day, the rapper posted an Instagram Live video of him recording music in Broward County, Fla.

An update was posted on the rapper's Twitter page on Monday.

“Thank you everyone for your prayers. We will let you know about Project Youngin’s condition soon,” a tweet read.
