The Flags of Valor memorial will be taken down starting at 6:30 a.m. Monday, September 12th. Over 7,000 flags were placed on Art Hill in Forest Park Tuesday. They were flown to honor the fallen military men and women who have died in the line of duty since September 11th , 2001.
Today you can take one of the flags, which comes with a set of dog-tags for a suggested donation of $75. The money raised will benefit four different veterans' charities.
