Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold back as ‘Beverly Hills Cop,’ report says

Both Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold have signed on for the CBS TV pilot “Beverly Hills Cop,” according to TheWrap.

Murphy will reprise his role of Axel Foley and Reinhold will play his old character Billy Rosewood for the continuation of the 80s movie franchise.

Murphy is also producing the pilot, and Reinhold will be making a cameo, TheWrap reported.

The pilot focuses on Foley’s police officer son, according to the site, and is being produced by Sony.

The three action-packed comedy “Beverly Hills Cop” films were originally produced by Paramount and released between 1984 and 1994.
