Don Francisco makes surprise appearance on ‘Tonight Show’

The new king of late-night television met his Spanish-language counterpart, kind of.

Don Francisco, the former host of “Sabado Gigante,” showed up on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” when a fan wrote in asking for an appearance

In a startling twist, Fallon summoned the legendary Spanish-language host now working in Telemundo for a short musical break.

“I love Don Francisco – he’s a legend,” Fallon said on the show that aired this week.

The two TV hosts broke out into an emotional rendition of “All the Girls I’ve Loved before” for a not-to-be-missed moment of two worlds coming together.

The 75-year-old Francisco, whose real name is Mario Kreutzberger, ended his iconic 53-year run of “Sabado Gigante” on Univision in September 2015. Earlier this year, he signed a new deal with rival Telemundo that would see him produce original content for U.S. Hispanics across multiple platforms.

His new show “Don Francisco Te Invita” airs on Sunday nights.
