Designer Mark Badgley and James Mischka told FOXNews.com that they were inspired by Cuba in the 50's, explaining, "We were at some friends house in Palm Beach and they had some pictures of their families before they moved to the states and they lived these beautiful lifestyles in Havanna. They wore couture morning, day, and night and at a party every night, and the jewels! Of course today it's a different world, but we just wanted to bring a little but of that to our customer." The designing duo created an array of fabulous pieces-- relaxed jumpsuits, trousers, sharp pant-suits, swim-wear, day dresses, cocktail frocks, and plenty of red-carpet worthy gowns. (Photo: AP)

Like so many designers this season, the recession had an influence on their concept as well. "I think everybody has to work a lot harder and be a bit smarter" Mark explained. "We really watch our prices, you have to, you really have to make sure you design clothes that are wearable but still exciting." (Photo: AP)

Bright colors like this red dress brought life to the designers' signature glamorous collection.

The designers both cited the shrunken black silk blazer teamed with a full cloverleaf skirt as being their favorite look from the collection (and it was AMAZING) but there were countless other looks that also brought on the 'wow.' A black strapless gown with layers of tulle, a black organza and sequin gown, two shocking pink dresses (one pictured here), a strapless black embellished cocktail frock, and many, many more!

(Photo: AP)

The duo confessed that their favorite celebrity clients are the "super-diva glamorous girls" including Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and Catherine Zeta Jones. "All those girls are always truly inspirational, they really know how to pull it together" Mark explained. They're clothes have definitely made their way onto countless famous figures but the one person they're just dying to dress is Cate Blanchett, who they describe as one of their all time favorites.
From celebrities to regular gals, this duo definitely know exactly how to make women feel confident, beautiful, and glamorous.
