Carson Kressley didn’t make the cut Tuesday night on DWTS, but said he was happy that he could keep his costume “just in time for Halloween.”
The Fashionista known for his wit on Bravo’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” had the fewest votes.
Kressley along with his dance partner Anna Trebunskaya, jived to a colorful routine to British pop duo Wham!'s 1984 catchy tune “Wake me Up Before You Go-Go.”

With the crowd booing in disagreement with Kressley’s departure, the fashion designer says he takes away a lot from the experience.
“This has been pure joy for me,” Kressley said. “I hope I can make people smile and laugh and have a great time.”
Kressley also thanked his castmates, judges and producers as well as his “friends and my families and fans” for the support while being on the show.

“I have to say thank you to everyone involved with Dancing With the Stars,” said Kressley.” “To Anna who’s been the most amazing, patient, kind, wonderful partner.”
The audience then got to see a video montage of Kressley “down memory lane” on DWTS, where Kressley spoke about the impact that the show has had on him.
“Before this competition, I was always the gangly, dweeby, junior high kid who was afraid of dodge ball,” Kressley said. “Now, I’m still afraid of dodge ball, but I can dance.”

Trebunskaya was proud of Kressley’s dancing accomplishments.
“Carson went full on into this experience,” she said. “He became a dancer.”
Looking forward to being “back every week” to cheer on his cast mates, Kressley says he’s happy to have challenged himself and participating in the competition.

“Sometimes the hardest thing to do is having the courage to say ‘yea I’m going to do it,’” Kressely said. “Maybe you’re not the greatest at it, but you’ve done something that you never imagine you could do because it inspires you to try new things.”
“This week Dancing With the Stars, next week governor of Texas,” he added as the crowd broke in laughter.
