Count Courtney Love on Team Miley.
The ex-Hole lead singer hinted at a collaboration with the young star saying she plans on “doing something with Miley.” The two regularly communicate via Twitter.
“If it wasn’t for Miley Cyrus, 2013 would’ve been a dully dreary year,” Love posted, “if you can’t agree with that, you’re an idiot.”
Love told News.com.au that she has become somewhat of an elder stateswoman to the current generation of pop stars.

“I am not pop but I have a lot of friends on social media and friends who are pop stars. There’s just not a lot of rock ’n’ roll girls out there, so for whatever reason [pop stars] look up to me."
The often controversial singer, who has struggled with drug addiction, is turning 50 this week and has been sober for seven years. Now her biggest vice is cheese which she’s thinking of also giving up.
“I got a little chunky because I love cheese,” she admitted, “but I have been on a diet. If you get really fat or lose all your hair, you can’t just put on a baseball hat like guys can. They will forgive you [for] all the drugs in the world but they will never forgive you getting fat.”

Love won critical acclaim for her role in “The People Vs. Larry Flynt,” and is eager to act again but says that it’s difficult to gain footing into the movie industry.
“I have to be more proactive. I am friends with all the movie stars but you need the lawyers; to find the right agent, you have to find the lawyer they are affiliated with. It’s complicated,” she says.
