While many couples were enjoying each other’s company on Valentine’s Day Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman finalized their divorce, ending their five year marriage.
Aguilera and Bratman did not initially file the divorce paperwork through the court, therefore the judgment will not be official until April 15.
Documents show that the pop star and Bratman have come to an agreement of joint custody for Max the couple’s 3-year-old son. An understanding about “property, assets, and debts” has also been reached; as first reported by entertainment news site RadarOnline.com.

Until now, Aguilera and Bratman were still living together although the singer filed for divorce in October of last year, just days after separating from the music executive.
In recent days Aguilera has been under media scrutiny for singing the incorrect lyrics of the national anthem at Super Bowl XLV and then falling as she came off the stage.
The actress redeemed herself at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony with a flawless tribute to Aretha Franklin, but minutes after also stumbled and fell.
