The story of this couple’s doomed relationship continues.

TMZ is reporting that 34-year-old former Miami Dolphins player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson will not have to serve any jail time for head-butting his now ex-wife Evelyn Lozada on August 11th, causing a three-inch scar.

According to the celebrity news site, Johnson was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to attend anger management counseling by a Florida judge. He pleaded “no contest” to a domestic battery charge over a violent argument about a condom receipt.

Johnson won’t be allowed to contact Lozada and he’s expected to pay restitution.

The couple’s VH1 reality TV series, “Ev and Ocho,” was cancelled and their 41-day marriage is officially over.

“Evelyn and Mr. Johnson were divorced this morning in a contested final hearing,” said Lozada’s lawyer Michael Gilden on Wednesday to People Magazine. “My client is a single woman and looks forward to her future.”
