Funnyman Will Ferrell ran the Boston Marathon in 2003, sporting a mustache for his upcoming film "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy." Ferrell, who often runs with his wife Viveca, has also completed the New York City Marathon and the Stockholm Marathon. (Reuters)

Music mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs ran the 2003 New York City Marathon, raising over $2 million for charity in the process. "I've never experienced mental or physical pain like that," Combs said of the marathon. (Reuters)

Last but not least, how can we forget about Oprah Winfrey? The talk show host and entertainment icon ran in the 1994 Marine Corps Marathon, famously finishing in just under four and a half hours.
