Celebrity Court Clothes: Sexy vs. Conservative
When going before a judge, most stars button up, but some just let loose!
- SEXY For her most recent court appearance -- a probation status hearing -- LiLo chose a dark designer pant suit to the Beverly Hills Courthouse. Which seems conservative. But the unbuttoned blouse and towering Brian Atwood stilettos push the outfit to sexy territory. It didn't help: she was ordered to wear a monitoring bracelet and undergo random drug testing. Maybe another couple of buttons would have helped? (REUTERS)read more
- CONSERVATIVE When she went to court in January of 2004 for securities fraud, Martha caught flack for bringing her Hermes Birkin handbag. The starting price for a Birkin is $6,000. The most expensive version is $85,000. The homemaking diva was ultimately sentenced to five months in prison and two years' probation. (REUTERS)read more
- CONSERVATIVE Though her somber black frock shows leg, and her peep toe Louboutins are rather sexy, Nic's pulled-together outfit would no doubt impress any judge. Then-pregnant Nicole and boyfriend Joel Madden dressed up for Richie's court appearance in Glendale, California on July 27th, 2007. The reality star was sentenced to four days in jail for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. (AP)read more
- SEXY The "Private Practice" star shows a lot of leg at the Los Angeles Superior Court House in February. Kate was there wrapping up her divorce. For more pics of Kate, visit x17online.com.read moreX17online.comShare
- CONSERVATIVE Charlie Sheen's ex eschews her normal tank top and flip flops for a bit more coverage. Denise was in court in 2008 fighting Charlie over her right to include their kids on her reality series. She won. For more pics of Denise, visit x17online.com.read more
- SEXY? While the troubled rocker's court look in 2004 was certainly not conservative, it wasn't all that sexy, either! Courtney had been at the center of four criminal court cases involving allegations of drug possession or violence. Love was sentenced to state-enforced rehab and probation. (AP)read more
- CONSERVATIVE Most of the time, Paris is partying pantyless, but when she headed to court in 2007 for driving with a suspended license, the heiress made sure to cover up. On May 4, 2007 Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. She ultimately served about 21 days. For more pics of Paris, visit x17online.com.read more
- SEXY The rapper has worn a number of unorthodox ensembles to court for her various legal troubles. In this instance, she wears a silky blouse and animal print handbag leaving a Manhattan courthouse in 2007 after pleading guilty to violating probation. She was sentenced to one year in jail for violation probation that stemmed from a 2004 fight in a NYC nail salon. (AP)read more
- CONSERVATIVE Always prim and proper, the actress appears at the Sydney Supreme Court in November 2007. Nicole gave evidence against a paparazzi in a defamation case. The court ruled the article saying photographer Jamie Fawcett was a "cowboy" who once dubbed himself the "Prince of Paparazzi" and who was determined "to wreak havoc on Kidman's private life," was not defamatory.
