La La Vazquez is making sure Jordan Crawford knows “strong women only intimidate weak men.”
This message is what she posted up on her Instagram page on Thursday, after the ball player dissed Vazquez’s New York Knicks star husband, Carmelo Anthony.
But, it doesn’t end there.
The former VJ-turned-reality-TV starlet also wrote how she isn’t surprised that Crawford is not playing lately.
“Try again,” she wrote. “You on the bench for a reason,” Vasquez said.
Vazquez’s sneers come as the Boston Celtics beat the Knicks 92-86 on Thursday.
According to The New York Daily News, it seems that Crawford stole his teammate’s (Kevin Garnett) idea of trash-talking Anthony and his spouse.
Back in January Anthony said he lost his cool after Garnett said things to him that he feels shouldn't be said to "another man."
According to the Post, an Anthony confident told them it was a comment about his wife.
Anthony and Vasquez are reportedly estranged and having marital problems.
The New York Daily News cites Black Sports Online who spoke to various sources at the game who said that the comments by Garnett were “Your… wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.”
Anthony said he sought out Garnett afterward so they could discuss the matter. He would not elaborate on what was said.
"There's certain things that you just don't say to men, another man," Anthony said. "I felt like we crossed a line, but like I said, we both had an understanding right now, we handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors, so that situation was handled."
