Candace Cameron Bure is "disappointed" with Donald Trump's pick for his running mate.
The presidential candidate announced that he chose Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to run with him on Twitter Friday morning.
However, Bure shared on Friday's episode of "The View" that she would have preferred Trump to pick Ben Carson.

"I was a little disappointed," Bure shared. "I would have liked to see someone from [a more] diverse [background]. To see the president and vice president maybe more culturally balanced."
Bure's "View" co-host Raven Symoné has different concerns with Pence.
"Nobody really read up on Mike Pence beforehand," she said. "There are new people that are coming into our world."

She added that she does not agree with Pence's political views on abortion and said the vice presidential hopeful "discriminates against people" but did not elaborate.
Guest co-host Jedediah Bila shared her views saying Pence was a smart pick because he will "bridge the GOP...back together."
