Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin talk 'Fuller House' season 2

It sounds like a familiar face could be returning to the Tanner home in season two of "Fuller House."

Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin spoke with ET's Katie Krause on the red carpet at 102.7 KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert at the StubHub Center in Carson, California on Saturday, where they hinted at some possible old school cameos that fans might be able to expect in the Netflix comedy’s second season, which just began production.

According to Sweetin, there will be some exciting developments in the love life of her character, Stephanie Tanner.

"Stephanie finally gets a boyfriend," Sweetin cautiously teased. "Who it is, is a really fun surprise. So I think fans are going to enjoy that."

While Sweetin insisted that she couldn't reveal who would be playing her love interest, she did reveal that "the audience [at the taping] seemed to really love it."

"There could be a connection to [someone from] 'Full House,'" Sweetin added. "It sucks to have to be so vague but Netflix will kill me if I say anything. I want to so bad, but I can't."

The first live taping of the show kicked off on Friday, and according to Bure, the second season is off to a great start.

"We're so happy to be back and we have some fun new guest stars on this year," Bure gushed. "We can't wait to show you guys!"

Bure was equally tight-lipped about any season two secrets, but the actress -- who stars as D.J. Tanner on the revival series -- did promise that there would be some crowd-pleasing guest appearances.

"There are definitely going to be some more throwback guest stars on this season," Bure revealed. "So old 'Full House' fans will have fun seeing some very familiar faces."

As for D.J.'s love life, Bure says her character is still stuck between the two men vying for her affection – handsome doctor Matt Harmon (John Brotherton) and her high school sweetheart Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) -- but this season will see some bold change.

"Matt and Steve are back! And [D.J.] is ready to make a decision!" Bure teased. "But I can't tell you what it is! You're going to have to wait to watch!"

Two stars who have long been rumored to return for season two are the Olsen Twins, who starred on the original series as youngest Tanner sister Michelle. Sweetin addressed the speculation, but said that she doesn't know if the rumors are true.
