'The Avengers' and 'Men in Black 3' may be dominating the summer box office scene, but what about other big summer releases through the years?
- 'Men in Black 3' It's not often that the third installment of a movie does better than the first two, but "MIB3" is on its way to doing just that as the opening weekend raked in $70 million. - 'The Dark Knight' Heath Ledger's portrayal of the sadistic Joker has raked in big bucks for Warner Bros. The epic movie, which came out in July 2008, has made over $533 million in the U.S. The star sadly passed away six months prior and never got to see the movie's unprecedented success.
