<b>Nicolas Cage</b> <b>GOOD DAD, BAD SITUATION</b> Nicolas Cage was faced with a <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/06/08/nicolas-cages-son-taken-to-hospital-in-restraints-for-mental-evaluation/" target="_blank">trying situation</a> on June 8 when his oldest son Weston got into a scuffle with his personal trainer in public.  Cops were called to he scene to restrain the the 20-year-old Cage and ended up taking him away on a gurney. He was taken to a hospital to be evaluated. Nic Cage apparently cleared his schedule upon hearing about the incident and has been by his son's side ever since.  (AP)

<b>Ben Affleck</b> <b>GOOD DAD</b> The father of Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2, is often seen toting his girls around town. He has said, "I love being a father... It's wonderful. It's changed my life. It all sounds like platitudes and clichés, and that's because they're the truth." (REUTERS)

<b>Michael Lohan</b> <b>BAD DAD</b> Troubled actress, Lindsay Lohan, hasn’t had the best father-figure in her life. She has admitted, “I haven't had a real relationship with Michael Sr. in years.” "He's a deadbeat dad,” she says. “He needs help." Still, Michael has attempted to stage interventions to help his troubled daughter. While they are often done through the press, perhaps in his own bad dad way, Lohan is trying to make amends. (AP)

<b>Alec Baldwin</b> <b>BAD DAD</b> The “30 Rock” star left some pretty damaging evidence of his parenting skills on his daughter, Ireland’s voice mail. He called the 11-year-old a "thoughtless little pig.” He continued: "I don't give a damn that you're 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother [Kim Basinger] is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do." He then threatened to "straighten your ass out." (AP)

<b>Will Smith</b> <b>GOOD DAD</b> Smith's youngest son Jayden (dancing left) stars in "The Karate Kid." Known for being "Mr. Nice Guy", Smith says, "It [was] such a bizarre shock for the kids to see daddy being mean [in “Hancock”]. It was fantastic." (AP)

<b>Joe Simpson</b> <b>BAD DAD</b> The famous dad and music producer disturbed many fans with his repeated comments about his eldest daughters assets. “She’s got double-D’s! You can’t cover those suckers up!” he has said.   (AP)

<b>Matt Damon</b> <b>GOOD DAD</b> The Oscar winner and his wife, wife Luciana Barroso have three girls together.  "It's great," Damon says of fatherhood. "It defies description, actually. I don't really know how to talk about it because I don't really know – I feel like I got made a member of a club that I didn't know existed." <b>Michael Douglas</b> <b>BAD DAD</b> Douglas has admitted that his priorities were off when raising his son, Cameron who was sentenced to five years in prison for a drug dealing conviction in April 2010. “I’ve taken blame about being a bad father — if being a bad father is working your butt off trying to create a career," he says.  "We always tend to be kinder or make more of an effort to strangers than we do to the person closest to us.”   (REUTERS)
