"Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson has been granted a temporary restraining order against a Warner Brothers security guard after the 49-year-old man expressed that he was "acting under instructions from God to pursue a romantic relationship" with the 24-year-old actress.
In a petition filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, via E! News, James P. Gorton is said to have expressed "threatening intentions" toward Benson, leaving the actress "anxious, worried and fearful." He has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards from the "Spring Breakers" star and refrain from contacting her. On July 9, a hearing will be held to extend the restraining order.

According to the declaration, "Gorton has expressed sexual feelings" toward Benson and stated he fell in love with her "over a year ago" after seeing her at a coffee shop near the Warner Bros. lot. "I am also told that Mr. Gorton believes that God has spoken to him through my character on 'Pretty Little Liars,'" the actress noted.
Rick Warmack, VP of studio protection for Warner Bros., also corroborated Benson's story, saying Gorton "planned to marry" the actress and felt the two were to "spread the Gospel together" and "live happily ever after."
Needless to say, Gorton has been forbidden from returning to work on the lot.
