O.J. Simpson
The nation was captivated by O.J. Simpson's murder trial in the early '90s. It started with the grisly murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. When O.J. was charged with the double murder, the media circus began with a televised low-speed car chase in a now infamous white Bronco and never let up.

But it was in the closing statements of O.J.'s trial that he uttered his most famous line. While trying on the much-talked about black glove that O.J. supposedly wore on the night of the murders, Johnnie exclaimed: "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit."
