'7th Heaven' actress Mackenzie Rosman poses for Maxim

Former "7th Heaven" star Mackenzie Rosman is following in her big TV sister's footsteps, but we don't think Reverend Camden would approve.

Rosman, best known for playing Ruthie on the long-running family drama, strips down to her bra and underwear for the September issue of Maxim.

Everyone's posing nude!

"I caved... Just wrapped a #Maxim photoshoot," Roseman, 23, tweeted.

Early in "7th Heaven's" run Jessica Biel, who played rebellious eldest daughter Mary Camden, caused a firestorm when she posed topless for Gear magazine in 2000 when she was just 17. Stephen Collins, who played her father, called the pictures "child pornography" and producers later took legal action against the magazine.

"It was a big deal. The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of [executive producer] Aaron Spelling," Rosman tells Maxim of the scandal. "I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of '7th Heaven.'"

However, it's not the first time Rosman has taken provocative pictures. In 2008, photos of her posing in her underwear and kissing a girl leaked online.

Rosman next appears in the Syfy film Ghost Shark, which premieres on Aug. 22.
