About FNVA

The Fox News Voter Analysis (FNVA) is a survey of the American electorate conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago for Fox News and The Associated Press. It provides a comprehensive look at political opinions and voting behavior across the United States. With more voters than ever voting early or by mail, this new survey method addresses the limitations of relying exclusively on in-person exit polls. It also captures the views of all Americans, as voters and non-voters are included in the sample.

For the 2022 general election, the Fox News Voter Analysis takes interviews with a random sample of registered voters drawn from state voter files and combines them with interviews from self-identified registered voters selected using nonprobability approaches. It also includes interviews with self-identified registered voters conducted using NORC’s probability-based AmeriSpeak(R) panel, which is designed to be representative of the U.S. population. The survey is expected to include over 100,000 interviews with registered voters between Oct. 31 and Nov. 8, concluding as polls close on Election Day. The FNVA will deliver statewide data in 48 states, as well as nationwide.
