Chris Evans has become one of Marvel’s biggest heroes after first appearing as Captain America in 2011. Before his near 10-year run as Captain America, he was in many movies and television shows. Evans was born on June 13, 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts to parents Lisa and G. Robert Evans III.
The very first role Evans had was in 1997, in an educational video called “Biodiversity: Wild About Life.” In 2000, he was in the television show “Opposite Sex” with Milo Ventimiglia. He was also in “The Newcomers,” “Boston Public” and “Not Another Teen Movie.” In 2005, he entered his first superhero role as Johnny Storm in “Fantastic Four.” He reprised the role in “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer” in 2007. He has also been in “The Perfect Score,” “London,” “Sunshine” and “Gifted.”
Evans first appeared as Captain America in "Captain America: The First Avenger" in 2011. The next year, the first “Avengers” movie came out, where he worked alongside Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson. He continued to play Captain America for nearly 10 years of his career. He had two additional feature films, “Captain America: The Winter Solider” in 2014 and “Captain America: Civil War in 2016.” He also acted with the rest of the “Avengers” cast in three additional movies. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” came out in 2015 and “Avengers: Infinity War” came out in 2018. Evans has had a long dating history starting with his first public relationship with Jessica Biel. The two started dating in 2001 until 2006. Since then, he has been linked with many others including Christina Ricci, Dianna Agron, Minka Kelly, Sandra Bullock and Lily Collins.
