Toyota's sales in Japan rose 48 per cent year-on-year in February as the iconic car-maker displayed resilience at home despite its massive global safety recalls, an industry group told AFP Monday.
Toyota delivered 146,145 cars and buses last month, the Japan Automobile Dealers' Association said.
The car-maker sold 3,373 units of its luxury Lexus brand, up 257 per cent from the same period last year, the group said.
