The Lazareth LM 847 has a V8 engine, and four wheels, but it’s no muscle car.
The French creation is a quad built around a 470 hp Maserati engine and looks like something Tron would ride if he were a rich European instead of computer code.
Similar to the Dodge Viper-powered Tomahawk concept from 2003, it has four independently-suspended wheels that allow it to lean in the turns, just like a motorcycle. Which it is. Maybe. We’re not really sure.
Instead of gears, it uses a single-speed hydraulic coupling to send power to the rear wheels via twin chain drives. It’s long, low and the exposed intake manifold is right under your chin.
As fantastic as it looks, the company has been building bizarre machines for years and selling them for equally eye-catching prices that can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
