The truck is a collaboration between Chevy and American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), a Montana-based company that sells off-road accessories and fully-built overland trucks.
The Bison package is an add-on to the Colorado ZR2, which features a lifted body and high-performance suspension designed to handle high-speed off-roading. To that, AEV adds steel bumpers, skid plates, fender flares and wheels all of its own design and most sporting the company’s logo.

The price is $49,745, which is $5,750 more than the standard ZR2. Good luck finding on a lot for that little, however. The internet is littered with dealer listings for ZR2s priced thousands over sticker.
And don’t expect to have any more luck next year, because a Chevy spokesman told Motor Authority that it’ll be building about the same number in 2020.
