The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible isn’t exactly a Black Friday deal and won’t make it home for the holidays, but it’s the thought that counts, right?
The limited edition drop-top comes in a fully-loaded 3LT trim level with a few extras to celebrate the launch of the convertible version of the seventh generation ‘Vette.
Available only in Lime Rock Green with a Brownstone suede interior, the car is fitted with a Z51 performance package, sports exhaust and magnetically-controlled active suspension. Along with a smattering of Stingray badges and a set of twisted-spoke wheels from the accessories catalogue, it also comes with a five-piece set of Thule Corvette logo luggage and a numbered dash plaque to authenticate it as one of the 550 Premiere Edition cars that will be built.
The price is $77,450, but the cars won’t be built until early next year. So if you’re buying it as a gift, you may want to pick up an officially licensed 1:24 scale Stingray Convertible to act as a placeholder.
Then again, for just $24.50, perhaps you’re better off just going with that one instead.
