Cadillac has offered the first look at its next top of the line sedan, the CT6.
The car is scheduled to make its debut at the New York International Auto Show in April, but has a cameo in a new Cadillac commercial that first ran during the Academy Awards broadcast on Sunday night.
The sleek, white sedan is long and lean, and not just in appearance. Although details are yet to be revealed, Cadillac has promised that it will be the lightest vehicle in the full size luxury class thanks to an extensive use of aluminum and other lightweight materials, and weigh even less than the midsize Cadillac CTS.
General Motors has also said that it will be the most technologically advanced car in the world, with semi-automated driving capabilities, an available plug-in hybrid powertrain, and other gizmos like a video-streaming rearview mirror.
