Even though the BMS 7-Series High Security provides the highest levels of ballistic protection that you’ll find in any automobile, sometimes that’s still not enough. For worst-case scenarios, the sedan also has an automatic fire extinguisher and carries its own fresh air supply in case you need to drive through tear gas or other noxious fumes. Mercedes-Benz already offers protective versions of several of its mainstream vehicles in Europe, but this one could drive all over them. The G-Wagon Light Armoured Patrol Vehicle 6.X isn’t for sale…yet, but the diesel-powered concept has a cargo capacity of 2,600 pounds, an 18-inch ground clearance, and a fully-armored body with removable panels that includes a land mine deflector plate.
