Jaguar's newest sports car is nearly 60 years old. Back in 1957, the company started a run of XKSS street cars based on its D-Type racer. Unfortunately nine of the 25 cars built were destroyed in a factory fire and weren't replaced. That changes now as it has created a near-perfect replica of the XKSS, right down to its hand-wheeled magnesium body, period-correct Dunlop disc brakes, and 264 hp 3.4-liter straight-six engine. Nine continuation models will be produced, and they're all already spoken for at a price of about $1.5 million each. Think that's expensive? According to the Hagerty Price Guide, originals, like the one owned by Steve McQueen that's on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum, are worth around $15 million today.read moreJaguarShare
