9 players win final spots at poker world series

LAS VEGAS Nine players have won final table spots at the World Series of Poker main event and will compete for the title and $9.12 million in November.
Dean Hamrick was eliminated in the last hand early Tuesday when his ace-jack failed to beat the pocket queens of Craig Marquis.
The hand ended a marathon 11-hour, 40-minute session of play, excluding breaks.
Hamrick was eliminated in 10th place, winning $591,869.
