Two churches in San Antonio, Texas were vandalized by an unknown suspect Monday.

In both cases, San Antonio Police were called out to investigate.

"When I actually read what it said, it kinda hurt, you know?" said Anthony Boulan.

Boulan is a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and saw the graffiti.

The image appeared near the front door of the church and looked to be stenciled on the bricks via spray-paint.

The words painted were “No to wall" and "Islam or die" with a symbol underneath.

"I didn't understand what the wall had to do with the "Islam or die," but evidently whoever put it there had some kind of statement to make," Boulan added.

Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church was also hit with the same graffiti.
