Fasten your seat belts it’s going to be a bumpy morning. U.S. stocks expected to plunge at the open. My sources say the Dow could open more than 600 points lower.

Global stocks tanking again overnight. Chinese stocks fell another 8% Monday as global fears of a broad slowdown spread. It looks like U.S. stocks will fall another 2% at the opening bell. We are officially in market correction territory. Many U.S. stocks down more than 10%. The Dow Jones is down 10% from its May highs. The next downward milestone would be an official bear market (when stocks fall 20%). Apple stocks has fallen 20%. 147 others in the S&P are also in bear territory. The so-called “fear gauge” (Officially the volatility index) doubled.

Oil and other commodity prices are down again today.. Oil trading below $39 a barrel for U.S. benchmark crude.

The intrigue on the Democratic side also heating up with rampant speculation about the possible entry of Vice President Joe Biden into the race. He huddled with Elizabeth Warren on Saturday.. fueling the rumors he will indeed run. He’s expected to make a decision in the next few weeks. We’ll have some analysis.

The second guessing of EU border security is ramping up today after a terror attack on a train between Amsterdam and Paris on Friday. Three Americans foiled the attack by the radical Muslim terrorist who’d been on the watch lists of several EU countries. The 3 Americans said they weren’t heroes, but the French are giving them The Legion of Honor. The terrorists had an AK-47 and a box cutter, and other weapons. He was likely to have killed many people if not for their actions. An English businessman also helped subdue the terrorist. The man has links to ISIS.

ISIS has reportedly destroyed another world heritage site. ISIS terrorists have blown up an ancient temple in the ruins of Palmyra in Syria.

James Holmes will get life in prison in formal sentencing this week, but not before 100 victims and witnesses testify beginning today in the Aurora movie massacre case. Alicia Acuna reporting.

The death toll is rising in a horrible air show crash in England this weekend. 7 deaths have been confirmed, but they think the death toll climbed to near 20.

North and South Korea holding marathon talks this weekend to deescalate a border crisis that threatens war. Not a lot of progress to report.
