MINNEAPOLIS – Minneapolis police say a man was fatally shot when he tried to help another man who came to his home.
The killing happened late Friday morning at a home in north Minneapolis.
According to police, a man went to the home and told the homeowner he was being chased by people who wanted to kill him.
The homeowner called 911, and officers arrived to find that the homeowner had been shot.
The Star Tribune reports officers located the man who came to the home and placed him in custody.
Authorities have yet to identify either man. No motive for the killing has been disclosed.
Police say they are not searching for any other suspects.
